Visiting Cologne, Germany

To enjoy a little taste of Oktoberfest at the end of September, Nik and I traveled to Germany and spent two days visiting Cologne.

Roadtrip to Tuscany where we stayed at the luxurious Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa in the town of Barga.

Dinner at Les Grands Buffets in Narbonne, France - an experience where fine dining meets an all-you-can-eat buffet.

After spending two days and nights visiting Chamonix and taking in the beautiful scenery and charming town, I can't wait to one day return.

Lyon is the third largest city in France. And though we only stayed two nights, we covered a lot during our visit.

To start our mid-August 10-day road trip from Nice through a few other French cities, Nik, Koval, and I headed back to Aix-en-Provence.

A day trip from Aix-en-Provence was to Camp des Milles, a French internment camp that opened in September 1939.

The Tyrolean cuisine we enjoyed while visiting Innsbruck, Austria was outstanding. We enjoyed varieties of sausages, schnitzel and good beer.

We spent a few days visiting Innsbruck where the food was delicious, the sightseeing was great and the weather was very refreshing.
